KCTP is excited to announce our first show of our 2025 season! Come join us onstage for this family-friendly rendition of the hit Monty Python musical! Arthur, King of the Britons, and his trusty squire, Patsy, travel the length and breadth of England recruiting knights for their Round Table, when they are given a sacred quest by God to retrieve none other than the famed Holy Grail! Aided by the Lady of the Lake and a whole host of other silly characters, they find their quest is more difficult than it appears!

All those interested in taking part in this production should check back later in the year for the Audition Form, which will be posted at the bottom of this page once KCTP has nailed down dates for performances and auditions. KCTP is currently wrapping up our 2024 season and will have more information on Spamalot in December.

Vocal Auditions:

Vocal auditions will be required for all singing parts, including chorus roles. Please come prepared to sing a short 30-second solo for directors. Any family-friendly vocal piece is acceptable, but musical theatre pieces are strongly encouraged, as they help give a better sense of your ability on stage. Musical theatre pieces do not have to be from this show. KCTP does not provide an accompanist or speaker at auditions. You are welcome to perform acapella or bring your own speaker and accompaniment track. Those wishing to audition for a speaking role will be asked to stay after their vocal audition for a short acting audition.

Acting Auditions:

Acting auditions will be required for all speaking parts and will consist of cold readings from various selections of the script. These selections will be provided by the KCTP directors at auditions. It is not necessary to prepare any sort of monologue or to familiarize yourself with the script beforehand. If you are auditioning for a chorus role only, an acting audition is not required.

Callback Auditions:

If necessary, KCTP will announce the time, date, and location for callbacks on this page and our Facebook page. KCTP will reach out directly to those who are called back.

If you wish to audition but are unable to attend the scheduled audition time, please email us at contact@kennedalecommunitytheatre.org in order to arrange an alternate audition time!
